Toast Poem

I came upon this poem that I wrote in the original (well maybe not quite original) version of ilovetoast.com. I used to run it as a forum and a couple of mad dudes came along and started posting lots of toast nonsense - MartianV and MavWayne I seem to recall were their logins.
“What’s your obsession with Toast,”
she asked as we sipped on our drinks in the bar.
“Its so tasty and versatile and healthy and sexy,
ummmm, sorry, I think I just took that too far.”
But out of this chat, a website was born,
I Love Toast was the name
Some others were thought of, there in the bar
but this stuck as a catchy domain.
So many years passed alone on the web,
with a rare visitor once in a while,
until April two thousand and seven,
the signups all came in a pile.
So I welcome you all from wherever you live
and for believing, like me, in this boast -
That whenever there is a space in your life,
you can always fill it with Toast

Toaster toasts toasters
Was kindly sent this link to a BSG special edition toater.
Bagel brownin’ Cylon toaster now frakkin’ available | Register Hardware.
For those of you who don’t follow the show, the cyclon are referred to as Toasters - I guess its a derogatory term for the fact they are machines.
Now you can get the image of a toaster (cyclon) toasted on to your toast!
Texas Toast

Yum - just back from Canada where we had the pleasure of Texas Toast. In case you don’t know, Texas Toast is like thick cut toast over here in the UK but maybe about 2 or 3 times thicker!
It is so thick that it stays untoasted on the inside even when the outside is nice and crispy.
Would be nice as French Toast I guess
